Why Digital?

Paper production ranks among the most resource-intensive and highly polluting of all manufacturing industries. To make paper you use lots of water, energy and chemicals. In the United States alone, the paper industry is the largest user of water and the third largest industrial consumer of energy. Papermaking is also a very chemically intensive process, ranking fourth among industrial sectors in emissions of chemicals into water and air.
